I like the flexiblity of different mediums. You have captured the emotion in your subjects. I am looking on an iPhone, so it hard to tell if they are mixed media, or pastel and charcoal.
I like the Van Gogh he picked, the colors and and composition refuse to release the viewer.
You paint beautifully. And you write with such bite and clarity (imposed in part I suppose by the 140 character business) Stumbling upon your tweets has been the best part of joining Twitter.
If I hang around on this virtual verandah you will be the first one I wave to each morning. Alas I’m addicted to Scrabble on Facebook and do have a life away from this laptop so I’m not there much.
Simple & beautiful paintings! They reveal your outstanding sense of color. In addition, some pieces remind me of Cezanne, Monet. They portray real people, real landscapes as well as your metal image which seems calm and quiet.
